Happy 93rd Birthday

Dad’s 93^rd birthday, so we picked up a cake (which he didn’t like) and drove to

Levittown to take Dad out to lunch.   He wanted to go to Cesare’s because last year the owner put his name on the marquis.  I think he hoped that the owner would remember (which he did not), but after we got inside, we told him and he was kind enough to send someone out to change the marquis.  He also treated my father to lunch.  My father was really pleased.  The owner made him feel important.   

If we’re able to do this next year, I’ll call ahead and ask to have his name on the marquis.  It brings him so much pleasure.
